After moving to Oregon and doing hours of research, my husband and I are so glad that we chose Georgy to capture the story of our love. From our first meeting, Georgy was organized, patient, and thoughtful about our questions.
For the engagement photos, he did his homework and recommended a great hike and location against the backdrop of Mt. Rainier. He timed the shoot impeccably with golden hour. He gave great directions and helped us relax to make all of the photographs look natural (something that does not come to us easily). And when we saw the photos… WOW. To say they were stunning is a disservice.
Naturally, we were excited to see how our wedding photos would turn out. As wedding days sometimes go, ours was stressful, a bit chaotic and we had to pivot a few times. Georgy was so calm and quick to adapt to schedule changes, location changes, and weather changes. During the wedding, he maintained a very respectful presence and quietly shot all the important moments of the day.
He arrived early, scoped out the best place to shoot, and stayed through our sendoff at the end of the night. There were details of the venue and decor that we did not have time to revel in but were able to enjoy post-wedding through his photos. We got our wedding photos back in only one week! If you are looking for someone who is dependable and can deliver incredible photography under pressure and with the Portland fog, then we cannot recommend Georgy enough!

Georgy is absolutely nothing less than a phenomenal photographer. I think every bride does a search far and wide when it comes to searching for the perfect wedding photographer, and I was no different. I remember stumbling across his profile and seeing his work and being quite impressed, but nothing could compare to what he was actually capable of when he photographed our wedding.
I loved EVERY SINGLE PHOTO he gave us. I was so overwhelmed with the amount of photos I absolutely loved because, to be honest, I never expected to have so many that came out absolutely perfect. He is extremely professional, timely, and artistic.
The day of the wedding, he arrived early to scope out the venue and ensure he was able to capture every moment in the perfect lighting. He and I set up a shot list the week before and he was meticulous at getting me every shot on that list and then some. He is a one-man show, but he is everywhere all at once to ensure he gets every shot.
More so, he is extremely knowledgeable about lighting and shadows, which truly sets him apart from other photographers. His editing skills are also next level, and the speed at which he was able to deliver over 300 photographs to us was unbelievable. I cannot recommend Georgy more highly; I have never felt so beautiful and seen in photos quite like these ones.
I have people comment on my wedding photos all the time and say what a wonderful photographer he was. If you are looking for a spectacular wedding photographer, then look no further than Georgy Shishkin.

We used Georgy for our wedding in Napa, California after we saw the amazing work he did for my best mans wedding the year prior in the Oregon area. Georgy is a man of business (Our guests reviews: ‘He was SO professional’) and you will notice this on your wedding day. However, most importantly, you will notice after your wedding day that you have beautiful photos that will perfectly encapsulate your once (hopefully, lol) in a lifetime day. You don’t get do overs on your wedding day and Georgy understands that.
